Listening to RFI worldwide

RFI broadcasts around the world and has one of the largest FM networks, with 127 FM frequencies in 51 countries (minus 18 FM transmitters that have been shut down following censorship of RFI in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger). Its programmes are also aired by a network of more than 1,800 partner radio stations. In the most remote areas, particularly in rural Africa, RFI is broadcast via shortwave. RFI also has a strong presence on all digital environments, audio platforms and social networks to make its programmes available to the most connected audiences.

RFI is also present in France, broadcasting on FM and DAB+ in the Paris region, and in DAB+ in 6 major French cities (Lille, Lyon, Strasbourg, Marseille, Bordeaux and Toulouse) and via nearly 90 partner radio stations that air its news content. It also accessible online via its websites, apps and social networks, and its podcasts are broadcast on the Radio France app.

Watching France 24 worldwide

France 24 broadcasts worldwide to 574 million households in 2024, a broadcast distribution that is expanding ever further.

The channel is present worldwide in its various language versions across all broadcasting channels (cable operators, DTT, free-to-air, OTT offers, etc.) and also in digital environments (platforms and social networks, websites and proprietary apps).

France 24 has a major presence in Europe, Africa and the Arab world, and is expanding in Asia and the Americas.

It also has a strong out-of-home presence in hotels (4.2 million hotel rooms equipped), airlines and cultural establishments, foremost among which are the ‘Alliances Françaises’ and ‘Instituts Français’.

France 24 is also accessible in France in its various language versions in almost all households.

Listening to MCD worldwide

MCD broadcasts throughout the Arab world via a network of 27 FM transmitters and around twenty partner radio stations. Digital dissemination and satellite broadcasting are also important vectors for dissemination, enabling us to reach countries that are closed to terrestrial broadcasting, as well as Arabic-speaking diasporas around the world.

MCD also broadcasts on DAB+ frequencies in France from 2021 in the Paris region and in Marseille.
