In the three countries surveyed (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco), 14.6% of the population watches the channel each week. This figure rises to nearly 30% among executives and managers.<\/p>\n<p>France 24 confirms its leadership among executives and managers, positioning itself as the most-watched international news channel daily in Algeria and Tunisia. It also ranks among the top three in Morocco. Its brand awareness remains at its highest level, known by more than three-quarters of the population (75.3%) and more than 9 out of 10 executives and managers (91.9%).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A leading channel in Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia<\/h2>\n<p>In Morocco, 80% of viewers identify France 24 as a \u201cleading channel.\u201d In Tunisia, this recognition stands at 60% (+17 percentage points), and 73% of viewers say the channel \u201chelps them form an opinion on important issues\u201d (+16 percentage points). In Algeria, brand awareness has risen significantly, reaching 97% among executives and managers (+4 percentage points compared to 2024) and 85.4% among the general public (+3.8 percentage points compared to 2024), and 70% of viewers believe that France 24 \u201coffers something different.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Strong growth in digital audience<\/h2>\n<p>The success of France 24 in the Maghreb\u2014where respondents highlight the quality and expertise of the news coverage provided by its journalists\u2014is accompanied by significant growth in digital usage across the region.<\/p>\n<p>On YouTube, France 24 in Arabic will have accumulated more than 140 million views from the region by 2025, a 52% increase compared to 2024. The region accounts for 58% of the channel\u2019s global views in Arabic on this platform. In addition, France 24\u2019s communities on YouTube and Facebook have nearly 12 million subscribers from the Maghreb across the channel\u2019s Arabic and French accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Linguistic complementarity is a key feature of France 24\u2019s offering in the Maghreb: while Arabic dominates on broadcast, digital content in French is widely popular. On its own platforms (websites and apps), France 24 in French will total 7.3 million visits in 2025, ahead of the 5.7 million visits recorded by its Arabic version, illustrating the diversity and hybridization of news consumption patterns in the Maghreb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>*Source: Kantar \/ Africascope Maghreb 2025, conducted between November 3 and December 9, 2025, in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
