This support for young talent around the world is embodied in an active policy of scholarships and prizes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2003 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.francemediasmonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bourse.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ghislaine Dupont and Claude Verlon Scholarship<\/strong>, created in 2014 by France M\u00e9dias Monde after the murders of the two RFI reporters in northern Mali, rewards two young prize-winners (one journalist, one technician) from a French-speaking African country each year. They benefit from an immersive training session in Paris at RFI, INA (for the technician) and the Sciences Po Paris School of Journalism (for the journalist).<\/p>\n<p>The <em><strong>Prix D\u00e9couvertes<\/strong> <strong>RFI<\/strong><\/em>, created in 1981, promotes and supports new musical talent from the African continent. It is organised in partnership with the Institut fran\u00e7ais and the International Organisation of La Francophonie).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2012 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.francemediasmonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/rfi-theatre-500x250.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <em><strong>Prix RFI Th\u00e9\u00e2tre<\/strong><\/em>, awarded as part of the \u2018Les Francophonies \u2014 Des \u00e9critures \u00e0 la sc\u00e8ne\u2019 festival, aims to promote the wealth of contemporary French-language drama from the South.<\/p>\n<p>The <em><strong>Prix Voix d\u2019Afrique<\/strong><\/em>, awarded in partnership with JC Latt\u00e8s and the <em>Cit\u00e9 internationale des arts<\/em>, showcases new talent in French-language African fiction.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>Challenge App Afrique RFI-France 24<\/em><\/strong>, open to all Africans and young entrepreneurs on the continent, rewards digital innovations in the public interest (education, environment, etc.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2015 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.francemediasmonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/laureats_prix_RFI_Instrumental_2019_c.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"462\" height=\"306\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Many other prizes and awards are part of this active policy of supporting young talent around the world: in comedy with the <strong><em>Prix Talents du Rire<\/em><\/strong>, in music with the <strong><em>Prix<\/em><\/strong><em> <strong>RFI Instrumental<\/strong><\/em>, in journalism with the <strong><em>Lescaut Scholarship<\/em><\/strong>, in football with the <strong><em>Prix<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Marc-Vivien Fo\u00e9 RFI-France 24<\/em><\/strong>, in literature with the RFI and AUF <strong><em>Prix des Jeunes \u00c9critures<\/em><\/strong>, and in the environment with the <strong>ePOP competition<\/strong> organised by RFI Plan\u00e8te Radio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"parent":213,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-223","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Supporting talent - France M\u00e9dias Monde EN<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Throughout the year, France M\u00e9dias Monde strives to discover and promote new talent in all fields: music, theatre, literature, comedy and sports.
