Organisation
Head office in Paris and editorial offices on five continents
France Médias Monde is based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, in a head office equipped with the latest digital technology for radio and television. Resulting of a 2012 merger between TV (France 24) and radio (RFI, Monte Carlo Doualiya) media, the group is organised around shared support functions and separate editorial teams that preserve their identity and the uniqueness of their media, while working together and capitalising on their complementarity and cross-disciplinarity.
Men and women of France Médias Monde, the group’s greatest asset
The Group employs 1,830 full-time equivalents (FTEs), including non-permanent staff (freelancers and intermittent workers). With 51% of its workforce made up of women, the Group has equal gender representation, and employees of more than 60 nationalities. A vast network of correspondents around the world, as well as production companies that complete its television network also supports FMM’s media.
Within the company, there is constant and constructive dialogue with the staff representative bodies (notably the CSE [social and economic committee] and CSSCT [health and safety committee]) and FMM’s trade unions, which are involved in the Group’s developments and transformations.

Editorial offices on every continent
As part of a policy of geographical and linguistic proximity, FMM’s media outlets produce several of the group’s foreign languages as close as possible to their audience areas: in Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Asia and in the Arab world, giving the group a foothold on all five continents.
In Europe, RFI’s offerings in Romanian and Ukrainian are produced from Bucharest (Romania)
In Africa, RFI’s Mandingo and Fula services are produced in Dakar (Senegal), Hausa in Lagos (Nigeria) and Kiswahili in Nairobi (Kenya)
In the Arab world, a 100% digital editorial office is based in Beirut (Lebanon) to strengthen the digital offerings of France 24 in Arabic and MCD with local content on current affairs in the region (for the websites, applications, and social networks of the two media), in coordination with the editorial offices based at headquarters in Paris
In Asia, RFI in Khmer is produced from Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
In Latin America, France 24’s Spanish-language editorial office is based in Bogota (Colombia)
