Our missions
Public service missions on a global scale

“With our three media outlets, RFI, France 24 and Monte Carlo Doualiya, France Médias Monde works every day, 24 hours a day, to provide free, independent, verified and balanced international news, not only in French but also in our 20 other broadcasting languages.
Our media outlets offer an open-minded perspective on world events. As independent public service media, they are committed to bringing humanist values and human rights to audiences around the world. This is what we do, for example, when our channels celebrate artists and cultures from all over the world (one of the hallmarks of our media, which makes our audiences are so loyal!); or when we launch magazines in African languages that raise listeners’ awareness of sustainable development objectives (gender equality, health, environment, etc.). And also all the actions we are taking with our subsidiary CFI, helping to preserve local democratic ecosystems by supporting the development of local media.
These are all international public service missions that France Médias Monde’s teams fulfil on a daily basis. Serving our audiences, who are citizens of the world.”
