Executive Committee

Chaired by Marie-Christine Saragosse, France Médias Monde’s Executive Committee has fifteen members, seven women and eight men. It oversees business development, supervises the implementation of transformation projects and reviews the Group’s operational management.

Administrative Board

In accordance with Article 47-3 of law no. 86-1067 of 30 September 1986 on freedom of communication, France Médias Monde’s Administrative Board comprises 15 members.

Appointed by the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel (CSA), the former French broadcasting regulator, on 5 October 2012; appointed by the CSA for a second term on 23 April 2018; then appointed for a third term on 23 April 2023 by the Autorité de Régulation de la Communication Audiovisuelle et Numérique (ARCOM), the new French broadcasting regulator.

The statutory auditors are also invited to attend the meeting at which the accounts for the past financial year are to be approved, as well as the meeting at which, where applicable, discussions are to take place on matters likely to jeopardise the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.

Specialist committees

In certain areas, specialist Committees, made up of directors appointed for this purpose by the Board, who examine the matters falling within their remit and submit their opinions, proposals and recommendations to the Board, prepares the Board’s deliberations.

Three specialist-standing committees have been set up: 

  • The Audit Committee
  • The Remuneration Committee
  • The Strategic Committee

Social and Economic Committee

In accordance with France Médias Monde’s company agreement, the Group’s Social and Economic Committee (CSE) is made up of 23 full and 23 alternate employee representatives elected for three-year terms.

Chaired by the CEO of France Médias Monde, this body ensures that all employees are represented in the governance of the Group. The FMM Social and Economic Committee is involved in and consulted on all issues and projects relating to the organisation, management and general running of the company.

FMM’s CSE comprises five mandatory committees (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee; Economic Committee; Training Committee; Professional Equality Committee; Information and Housing Aid Committee) and three optional committees (Staff Representatives’ Committee; Catering Committee; Tripartite Committee).

The current Secretary of the CSE at France Médias Monde is Maximilien de Libera. By his position, he attends the Group’s Board meetings.
